Accessibility
Last updated: October 11, 2026
We want everyone to be able to use Blue Readings Now, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, or larger text.
The standard we are working toward
Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.
Where the site stands today
Our automated checks of the public pages have found no failures. Those checks do not cover every requirement in the standard, and they did not cover the screens you see after signing in, so we are not yet claiming that the service fully conforms.
What we know about
- No “skip to content” link yet. Keyboard users pass the sound and motion controls and the menu before reaching the page content.
- Signed-in screens are not yet checked. Sign-up, adding credit, starting a reading and account settings have not been through these checks.
- Readings are by phone. A reading is a voice call. If a phone call does not work for you, contact us and we will tell you what we can offer.
- The iPhone app has not been checked with VoiceOver.
What is built in
- Links, buttons and form fields can be reached with the Tab key and show a visible outline when focused.
- Background music is off until you turn it on, and motion can be turned off with the control at the top of the page.
How we checked
On October 11, 2026, we checked the home page, How it works, Support, the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service with an automated testing tool against the WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA rules, and tabbed through each page with a keyboard. Automated tools find only some kinds of problems. The service has not yet been tested with a screen reader or by people with disabilities.
If you have trouble using the service
Tell us and we will help. Email support@bluereadingsnow.com. It helps to say which page or screen you were on and what you were trying to do.
